Derenda Edmondson, Ed.D.
Dr. Edmondson is a Licensed Professional Counselor #6401005695 (Michigan)
and a Certified Masters Addiction Counselor #02283. She graduated from
Wayne State University with a M.A. in Counseling and The University
of Sarasota with an Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization
in substance abuse treatment and interventions. She has over 15 years
of experience in the field in the treatment of chemical dependency.
Dr. Edmondson is currently an adjunct professor at Webster University
where she teaches graduated level courses in Mental Health Counseling.
Janet Burtt, M.A., M.F.T., C.A.S.
Janet Burtt earned a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from California
State University, Fullerton and a Masters Degree in Counseling
Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California.
She is licensed by Californias Board of Behavioral Sciences as
a Marriage and Family Therapist #36087 and is Certified by the California
Association of Addiction Recovery Resources as an Addictions Specialist.
In addition to having worked over 10 years in the Addictions and Recovery
field, Ms Burtt has extensive experience working with a diversity of
populations. She spent three years working with adolescents in Group
Homes, Phoenix House and in Juvenile Hall. She has held the position
of Clinical Director of one of Californias first Womens
Residential Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs. Currently she is Director
of a Parenting Mothers Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program
as well as Clinical Director and Supervisor of Masters level interns
providing counseling to children in a Los Angeles County school district.
Cassandra Cheshire, Ph.D., MAC, LSPE
Cassandra Cheshire has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee
State University and earned her Masters in Education from Vanderbilt
University in 1991. She is also a NAADAC Provider #0189, a MAC #27920
and a Health Service Provider licensed in TN #PE0000011117 (Licensed
Senior Psychological Examiner). She has been in Private Practice since
1988.
