Our Management
Chief Executive
Officer: Wayne Knight
Mr. Knight earned a master's degree from Princeton Theological Seminary
with an emphasis in education and a bachelor's of science degree from
California State University, San Jose. Mr. Knight has teaching credentials
in the areas of Philosophy, World Religions, English as a Second Language
(ESL) , English, History, Business Administration and Basic Education.
For over 10 years Mr. Knight taught motivational and self-esteem building
classes to substance abusers empowering them to change their lives. He
has taught 10 years at various universities and community colleges. Subject
areas at the University and Community College level include: Introduction
to Philosophy, Critical Thinking, Ethics, World Religions, The Reformation,
Logic, Drama, Power and Society, Western Civilization, and Computer Application
courses. He has also taught ESL, High School diploma and GED, Drama and
Computer Application courses at the adult education level.
In addition to his teaching career, Mr. Knight spent 10 years in the parish
ministry, and was a part of a fund raising team that raised $25 million
dollars for churches in Southern California in 18 months. His 30 years
experience in the education and counseling fields provides him skills
and insights to oversee the development of the Company's Online Counseling
system.
Chief Operations Officer: Scott Heiser
Mr. Heiser has thirty years of experience in the computer and information
technology industry including marketing and software application development.
Mr. Heiser's sales and marketing experience started in 1982 when he worked
the trade show circuit for a leading manufacturer of teller terminal systems
for the banking industry. Over the past 13 years, he helped develop several
marketing and new product development strategies for software development
firms in Southern California. Most recently, Mr. Heiser has added web
site development and Internet marketing strategies to his strong list
of experience and capabilities.
Mr. Heiser has worked with the substance abuse treatment community for
over ten years designing and building database application software. DARMIS
(Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Management Information System) was developed
over a six-year period and has been successfully running in a number of
treatment facilities in Southern California.
Executive Vice President: A. Thomas Jennings
Mr. Jennings brings 30 years of technical experience, 12 years supervisory
experience prior to Choose 2 Change. Job responsibilities were the direction
and coordination of activities of personnel performing depot level overhaul
of various types of electronic equipment including major systems. He has
excellent budgeting/cost containment skills, technical and business writing
capabilities, project planning and implementation skills, and process
improvement. A trained and experienced Team Building Facilitator, and
certified as an ISO 9000 Internal Auditor. Mr. Jennings is also skilled
and experienced in database design and implementation.
